Works okay, though please add the latest conference; for a $20 app, you should have these updates right away. Months have passed since the conference and no sign of an update… There should also be a website from which to download additional lds books etc., like the lds scriptures iphone app has...
The Worth of the Word of God is not measurable unto man. I am so deeply greatful that this App is available, that I may feast upon the pleasing word of God whether I find myself with just my iPhone, iPad, or now just my Mac. :-D
It seems to freeze on me a lot. It also doesnt sync with the data I have on my "LDS scriptures" app on my iPad and iPhone, BUT IT USED TO and it stopped all of a sudden a couple of months ago. Ive been waiting for updates to fix these problems but havent seen anything. I dont use this app on my Mac anymore, Im using it on my ipad and iphone because i love how they can sync the same info and I can study where I left off on either device. If the syncing problem and freezing problem are fixed then Ill rate it higher.
I started using this app and loved it. Then it asked to update it so I did and now all my journal, highlights etc are gone. Any ideas? Otherwise I am thrilled with this app. Will be expecting a refund if I dont get my content back though. Very frustrating and not pleased now at all.
I love having my scriptures on my Mac, especially when I dont have internet, but Ive been trying to highlight the things I love and nothing will highlight. Im not sure if its just the trackpad being hard to highlight with or what. I was able to highlight in the beginning, but now its now working. Otherwise this app is great. It has so many differnet tools that are really handy especially when I dont have my physical journal nearby. I love being able to be uplifted anywhere I have my laptop. Im hoping i can get to highlighting my favorite stuff soon though.
Sure I’ve got my handy-dandy tablet and phone devices, each with their specialized version of scripture tools. However, when I want to create a talk and quickly locate references in the scriptures, copy and paste them into my word processor and organize materials with the ease afforded by a great tool, I always use my computer (laptop or desktop). This app fits the bill! Works very well on my mac 10.9. Has all the features I want and more than I need. Thank you for the nice tool! Blessings...
